Berry Picking Spots: Where to Find the Best Berries Near Columbus, Ohio
Apple picking season isn’t the only time to hit the farms for ultra-fresh, juicy, ripe fruit. As soon as Spring rolls around, bushes at U-pick berry farms around Columbus start to be loaded with fragrant strawberries, sweet raspberries, antioxidant-rich blueberries, and more.
My family loves berry picking because it really is the best way to get fruits at their peak flavor that you can choose one at a time, and it’s a fun outdoor activity that lets us get some fresh air and exercise after being mostly cooped up inside all winter long.
Kids especially love loading up buckets and boxes with these tasty morsels! And let’s not forget the benefits of eliminating the packaging that comes with pre-packaged berries at the store.
Thanks to this list of the best places to go berry picking around Columbus, you will have plenty of options to choose from.
