Columbus Taco Fest

The 2023 Columbus Taco Fest will be coming to Genoa Park on May 20th and 21st, 2023. This family-friendly event is in its 5th year and it is one of my favorite “foodie” style festivals. Who doesn’t love tacos?
Attendees will get to experience a wide range of taco vendors, live music, games and activities.
Hours: Saturday May 20th, 2023 – 12pm-8pm
Sunday May 21st, 2023 – 12pm – 8pm
Genoa Park is the perfect venue to check out the wide range of food trucks as well as a beautiful view of downtown Columbus.
The event is free and not only benefits the dozens of small business owners who are serving the tacos, but also the Columbus Diaper Coalition. The Columbus Diaper Coalition, a local non-profit, has a mission to provide diapers to families who are suffering from financial difficulties so families do not have to worry about putting diapers on their children.
I highly encourage you to take a couple of hours and head downtown to check it out. Come hungry because there are so many options. The event draws lots of visitors as well as supports local vendors, especially those in the Hispanic community. This event is so welcoming and inclusive and simply, just a great way to enjoy a few hours away from your busy life.
Here are our tips for a fun afternoon:
1. Come hungry – There are SO MANY OPTION!
2. Try something different! – There are some taco recipes that fall outside the box. Try something new.
3. Take time to check out the local music and vendors. Take in the whole experience.
The Columbus Taco Fest relies on volunteers. If you have availability they could use your help. They need people who can handle a wide range of jobs from pouring beer to cleanup. You can sign up here. Remember you are supporting a great cause.
